I’m working on a new habit to help me in the fat loss game and that’s taking fish oil. It’s a quick and easy thing to do, poor in spoon put in mouth. So, if it helps me hack fat loss, I’m all about that. I’m going to start out taking 30 grams a day of fish oil for the first 6 weeks and then cutting that back by half. Yes it is A LOT of fish oil, NO it isn’t gross or hard to do. I’m using Carlson’s lemon flavored. It goes down very easy with no fishy burps. I take 1 tablespoon in the morning and one at night. The consistency is like oil though so that might gross some folks out…surprisingly as texture conscious as I am I’m aright with it.
Read some more below and see if you’d be up for this habit. You can add the oil to a green smoothie or salad if the spoonful of medicine style doesn’t work for you.
Now you may be thinking WHY am I doing this and why on earth would you even consider it… and the answer is because it WORKS for fatloss , is easy, and has a TON of awesome side effects such as:
- Improved brain health
- Reduced inflammation
- Pain management
- Makes you happier (through increased serotonin levels)
- Decreased blood pressure
I know you are thinking those all sound cool but that is a lot of oil (aka calories) to just add in.
Yep, you’re right BUUUUUT…. For me, the fat burning benefits out weight the calories…
